Tool and Mold Making

The fast, easy and precise scanning with COMET5 forms the basis for short iteration cycles in tool optimization. When proven tools fail due to breakage, they can be reproduced exactly by milling based on the previously generated high-quality STL mesh.

Design

With a few measuring images taken in high speed mode, the design models can be completely 3D digitized even with short availability times.

Rapid Prototyping (Milling)

With its high measurement accuracy and the excellent data quality of the generated STL mesh, COMET5 provides the basis for best milling results.

Reverse Engineering

The high resolution and the quality of the point cloud generated by COMET5 form the basis for the subsequent creation of CAD data. Thanks to the flexibility of the system, different object sizes and surfaces can be processed without time-consuming preparations.
