The overall acquisition of 3D reference points on objects is easily done with a photogrammetry system (digital camera as acquisition sensor; spatial triangulation of images).
The photogrammetrically measured 3D points represent precise reference coordinates for the COMET system to match the single measurements.
The measurement set-up is freely scalable and can individually be adapted to any object.
Specially coded photogrammetry adapters are used for marking drill holes, edges, boundaries etc. Thus, an easy and accurate determination of such object features is possible.
