COMET xS is a compact 3D digitizing system for the fast and easy measurement and inspection of small objects. Its high accuracy as well as the excellent data quality allow for versatile applications in quality control, reverse engineering, rapid manufacturing and design.

The integrated positioning unit including a tilt and rotating axis enables the automated capturing of the complete object surface. Measurement programs specially adapted to the part geometry can be generated
quickly and easily by the user. The automated measurement of surface data does not require any user interaction. Evaluation and analysis of the scanned object data can be implemented into the automated process chain. Hence the system specially qualifies for repeating measurement tasks in quality control applications.
