FRAMESplus is the common basic software of all Steinbichler measuring systems for interferometry, holography, and shearography.

The modern, user-friendly program offers optimum help for the use of optical measurement techniques. FRAMESplus is a real 32-bit application under Windows NT, and supports the following measurement methods:
- 1D-/3D-ESPI
- PulsESPI
- Free Boundary
- Sine Stepping
- Interferometry
- Shearography
- Holography
- Projected Fringes

Keeping standardized designs for the user-interface of FRAMESplus, the handling of optical measurement techniques is more comprehensive and effective. In addition, FRAMESplus has a hardware-independent design due to the consequent use of drivers. The individual adjustment of the system is done easily with a special configuration program.

The following function extensions are available for FRAMESplus:

- Free Boundary - for the reduction of influences resulting from rigid
  body motions and thermal schlieren, additional vibration analysis
  of freely suspended parts, and less required vibration isolation of
  measurement set-up.
- Sine Stepping / Universal File - automatic sweeping of a freely
  selectable frequency range in user-defined steps. Data export for
  modal analysis to the CADA-X software from LMS.
- TRICOLITE - for the acquisition of 3D-geometry data to be added
  to the vibration data.
